The Challenge
Jász Plasztik Kft.’s large-scale manufacturing and energy infrastructure required the integration of a state-of-the-art grid-balancing and energy storage system capable of stabilizing the electricity supply, minimizing peak demand costs, enhancing the flexibility of the site’s energy infrastructure, and actively participating in the ancillary services market (aFRR/mFRR).
Our Solution
InFlyTe Energy managed the project throughout its lifecycle and implemented a turnkey battery energy storage system with a capacity of 10 MW / 20 MWh. The project incorporated liquid-cooled LFP containerised battery technology from CATL, together with an intelligent energy management solution.
The Result
Following successful testing and grid connection, the system is operational and supports the management of the site's peak electricity demand. The system also enables participation in the Hungarian flexibility market through the relevant balancing services.
